How EVM Extensions enable novel use cases on Evmos and simplify onboarding for end users

12:00 PM

Workshops Stage
EVM Extensions are implemented as Stateful Precompiled Contracts on the Evmos core protocol to allow dApps and users to access logic outside of the EVM. Acting as a gateway, these contracts define how smart contracts can interact with core functionalities on the Evmos chain (e.g. staking, voting) and perform cross-chain transactions (via IBC) and from the EVM.
